Biography:
I was born in Connecticut in March of 1974. Since then, I have been creating in one form or another. Art was always my favorite subject in school and by my senior year of high school I was more or less spending most of my day in
the art room. When it came to college though, I got a bit side tracked. After one semester, I got married, had a son and moved across the country to the state of Texas. We've been here ever since.
I worked retail for a couple of years and then got a job at a local TV station. I was there for 9 years, first in master control and then in the sales office as the sales assistant. Art took a back seat for a while but once I began working in the sales department I had a lot of opportunities to exercise my creativity. I produced many fliers, sales packages, postcards and presentations.
Now, thanks to the support of my husband and son, I'm a full-time college student. I'm working on my BFA with a studio concentration in ceramics and a minor in English at the University of Texas - Pan American. I plan to go into teaching.
In addition to school I try to earn a bit of money substitute teaching, face painting, doing graphic design work, and selling my artwork.
