Biography:
Color and motion combine to define the energy around me. In the changing dimensions of seascapes, sunrises and sunsets, I see an experience that needs to be captured in colorful strokes of paint. I focus on capturing the environment in a way that will emphasize valley life and its variety of unique qualities. Being an active member of the arts’ community, I make art a major focus of my life and enjoy each new creation and expression. Previous works have been exhibited and sold at juried art festivals and major group shows in throughout Texas including 2005 and 2006 Beachcomber Art Shows, Harlingen Art Forum exhibits, Dallas Cottonwood Art Festival, Port Isabel Art Walk/ Market Days, Dallas Jewish Art Festivl, Laguna Madre Art League Shows and other exhibit opportunities in the Rio Grande Valley area. I have exhibited at the Corridors Art Gallery in the Convention Center of South Padre Island, and one of those pieces was purchased by the Convention Center for permanent display in their offices.
