Carlota Gonzalez
Biography:
Originally from Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Currently she resides in McAllen, Texas. She studied plastic arts at the Plastic Art Intitute of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Mexico.
Her career began in 1980, participating in Numerous collective and individual Art Exhibits in Mexico and the United States.
She works with acryllics and different textures,
constantly looking for new techniques to improve and above all to have something new for the public.
"MY PICTURES ARE AN EXPRESSION OF MYSELF TAKING INTO ACCOUNT EVERY THING THAT SURROUNDS ME: WHILE PAINTING I CAN EXPRESS IN DIFFERENT WAYS MANY FEELINGS THAT I HAVE THROUTH THE USE OF COLORS, FORMS AND THE DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES THAT I USE.
I LIKE THAT PEOPLE WHO SEE MY PAINTINGS PERCIEVE THE MESSAGE OF EACH WORK AND IDENTIFIES WITH IT"
